it was arouund 1998 , and i had this amp.. it was all black and said golden eagle on it's faceplate.. if i remember it was similar in size and shape to the sweet16... remember upwards of 900w out... never opened it up so couldnt tell you what was inside... |

Allan, If I remember correctly the Golden Eagle Amp was sold in a kit form and was a solid state mobile amplifier. It covered 10 tru 160 meter's. Output was 300 ~ 400 watts and you really needed to use a tuner between the radio and the amp. You can do a GOOGLE search for: "Golden Eagle Amplifier" and find more information on it. Thanks TECH808, Im not too sure that this is the same amp.. wonder if anyone has pictures of this guy? i really remember much more power than 300-400w. Anyone else have any input? |
