so what the diffrence between rg213 and rg 8 u cables which one has the lower loss at 150 mhz? Thank you in advance. |

213 has less loss but not enough to realy worry about ..... EXCEPT for RADIO SHACK most rg-8 coax is just fine up to 440 mhz. On 6 since 66

for your money i think the alltell400 coax is your best bet.and the price isnt really that much different.for just a little more ya could get the best coax coppers carrys.just my 2 cents dale/a.k.a.hotrod cef426 cvc#64

Dale id use the lmr 400 type cable but it wont work well with the rotor its too stiff so youd have to add connectors at the top of the tower and before you enter the shack and that will lead to premature failure of things in the long run unless it can with stand all the twisting and turning |

ok i didnt realize this was for a beam.well then.do a google search for lmr400flex.or just ' use the rg213 coppers sells then.my bad dale/a.k.a.hotrod cef426 cvc#64
