Both the mikes have no modulation. New battery in both. I double checked the wiring and they are correct. No modulation when i turn down both mic gain on radio and mic's. When i turn them up squeal and /or talkback thru the speaker. I tried running a ground for mic to radio, no change. the radio is a Dak X. any help would be great. thanks kevin |

Squeal from speaker indicate one of two things - one the mic wiring is not correct, or the radio is staying partially in transmit mode.
Now I don't know that radio, but it is possible that if it is relay switched the relay is stuck in tx. Also if that radio has talkback on it the settings maybe too high.
