Has anyone tried the optional 10hz display resolution mod for the kenwood TS430S ? The manual says it is o.k., but a site on the web says DON'T DO IT, It will read "jibberish" Any thoughts ? Thanks, Jim |

Unless your running CW why ? I would not do it only because of the age of the radio ... If it goes POOF ! you might have a problem getting it fixed .... I Have a TS-2000 and don't find the 10 hz number do much EXCEPT on CW and at 50 hz bandwidth you can't use the 100 hz jumps. Enjoy it it's a nice radio ... Bruce On 6 since 66

I did it on my TS440S/AT and love it.I questioned whether it would be worth it or not,now I'm glad I did. It really helps on SSB too IMO. 73.Slim. |
