Nightlinks With a Stock Cobra 148GTL and a good station ground you should have NO PROBLEM's. Most interference is caused by Power Mics cranked wide Open ie: Over Modulation. And/Or improper station grounding. If you were causiong problem's I am sure your neighbor's would let you know. Hope this help's, Lon ~ Tech808 N9CEF ~ EN50mk

If they do thats a criminal act .... With your set up I would not worry .... To REALY cause problems you would have to have one big amp ..... Relax and enjoy your radio .... study get your ham license .... maybe even a ticket to a south sea island with a rare grid square .... Yep lots of beer a wind power generator and work the world ..... AND ....... Don't forget ME when you go ....... I could keep the that generator going when the wind dies down ..... We can dream can't we ...... On 6 since 66

Hi there Nightlinks If your not interfering with your tv, phones, cordless phone, touch lamps, garage door opener, and fluorescent lights. There a 75% chance your ok! If in doubt put a low pass filter in line! And make shur you have everything grounded!!! With your stock radio I doint think you will have any problems.(Its good to have a Watt - modulation and swr meter in line also) Hope i helped you. Nightlinks, If I had a dollar for everytime some jealous drunk threatened to cut my coax I could buy a new one of those fancy radios with all the toys added! Most people are all talk. As long as your curtious on air and work to resolve any problems with your neighbors everything will be fine. Just enjoy your hobby. Kenny CEF491 Reading the mail around Indianapolis Indiana!
