I wish I could still get a KLV400 or 1000 but they seem to have dried up in USA. I emailed KLV in italy and they told me of a dealer in US but on that dealer web site I dont see them. ??????? |

In reference to the original discussion, please check out my posting "KLV1000" by gijon as it explains about trouble with my driver stage. I believe part is due to shipping and part factory defect. Overall, it is a very nicely engineered piece of equipment. Airplane 1 - I found mine on Craigslist in Florida from an estate sale for $400. I felt it was worth taking a chance and it worked out fine. It's Only a Hobby! RC Man 919 CEF #874 N6ELO

Found a KLV400 in nice condition That I am thinking of trading my 2970DX newer version with cooling fan for and using it on my IC-7000. My 7000 puts out around 100 watts 10 Meters but with the KLV 400 I could do prob 400 SSB on 10 meters. What you all think. AP |
