Radio is new, NO work had been done at all to radio. The radio shows receiving, but no sound on AM only. On LSB, USB it works fine but no ears at all on AM. It talks great and everything seems to work but AM ears. Any ideas or help would be great thanks.

Thanks 808! Was thinking that was the best course to go but wanted to know if there was a faster way to fix the problem.

if your talking about clipping the audio limiter
this is very bad.i strongly suggest NOT doing this.it will destreoy your audio on ssb plus make it splatter channels.not to mention will void your warranty
