I have a 667V amp that I bought used from a amateur operator. He put an external fan on the bottom & plugged it to the "key" jack on back, which has 2 wires running to the power switch on front. When I first got the amp,I turned it on & the fan ran for 2 seconds, shut down & now the amp won't even light up.I've checked the big diode on back & several other things, but no luck.I was told it could be in the 4way switch.Any suggestions would be appreciated. |

My goodness, sounds like a headache. Could be in one of the push switches but replacing one of those things looks like a 4 pots of coffee and 3 packs of smokes job! Best bet is to call the Galaxy/Texas Star tech out in Escondido, CA. Very friendly service and they take care of ya right. Kenny CEF491 Reading the mail around Indianapolis Indiana!

Stupid questions is the fuse blown? With it having a "KEY" jack on the back has it already been modified?Does it still have the crystal socket with a crystal? Could be all kinds of things. Good luck,Scott 2005 Scion xB with a DX959 and a MM5 antenna
