Hi I have an old model RCI 2950 That drifts almost 10KC when it gets warm. I have searched the forum and can only find something on the 2980 drifting. Could this be the same problem? I would appreacheat any help. Thanks! Tim. |

WOW .....
I don't like the 2950 but never had a drift problem .... How did you measure the drift ?
The only time I have ever seen a PLL go unstable was when the voltage regulator was not working ...

For instance, start out talking on ch 7 get weaker and weaker friend finds me stronger and clearer on ch 6. |

has someone " unlocked " the clearfier ? if so it might be pulling the radio.
