Anyone please HELP!!!. I have a superstar 3900 gold with dual final 3600-14b board. I bought it new. It used to swing big it has the negetive peak conversion and the clarifier unlock mods only. I haven't used it for several years and hooked it up on the bench and in the car. Evan with dummy load. It used to put out 40w or so and now has a hard time to key 2w and swing 20w on am and Ssb. None of the finals or am amp are getting worm and the schematic that I have has variences from my board also some voltages don't match, but that may be from mods. I was thinking maybe IC4 because it drives both am and ssb and thats one spot that voltage is off, although pin 1 is correct. The radio sounds loud and clear to those that can hear me I'm just not swinging the watts it used too. Sorry to get long winded but wanted to get as much info as i could in. Din't know if someone has seen this before. Thanks for your support and help in advance. Mike |

Did you make any changes to your coax or antenna because impedance, reactance and velocity factors of different types of coax and antennas can and will make meters read different output levels if all is still the same then maybe there is a problem with the radio.
