I have several amps that I play around with but my favorite would have to be my Texas Star DX 500,s. One with the Connex 4800 DXL and the other with a Magnum S-9. Now lately my faith in Texas Star is being tested and been having my eye on an M400 DaveMade box! Must have SSB delay of course. KEEP IT REAL! Kenny cef491(27.115lsb) 2sf491(27.555usb) Indiana

The 50 watt Magnum S-9 driving the Texas Star DX500 is a match made in heaven. I have yet to hear a better sounding radio @ 500 watts of amplification! No quarter ton of batterys in the back just a regular heavy duty alternator, Optima redtop, fat coax, and a big ol antenna! Kenny CEF491 Reading the mail around Indianapolis Indiana!

Allen, Reading your last post I thought you was an old man. Your just 4 years older than me! Oh god that means in 7 years I will be 40! You know I find myself running barefoot more often these days with no trouble. Sometimes high power attracts unwanted attention from the knuckleheads out there!
