Recently acquired this mic and noted that the thin filter that covers the mic element (seen thru the metal mesh screen) was a white, cream color.
Most D104 mic filters that I have seen, are black in color. I unscrewed the head and the filter looks stock to me. Not brittle, still soft. Shows some age, nothing major.
Did the D104's come with a white and/or black filter as stock,... or are they just all black?
Just curious,... thought we might have some Astatic mic collectors out there,...
