I have a boomer deluxe 600 that has been sitting up for a while. Problem I am having is there is no output at all. The relay seems very slow in pulling in when the mike is keyed. Dead key watts are 3.5 into the amp. Any help is appreciated, thanks

are you getting the 3.5 watts back out-or absolutely nothing? is that in both the on & off positions? could be switch problem, keying transistor or relay. 3.5 out with amp 'off' and 0 out with amp 'on' could be all 5 transistors and that's highly unlikely unless you accidentally put 100 watts through it.

Pat,
With the amp in the "off" position, I get the 3.5 watts through it. With the amp in the "on-low, med or high drive" no output, not even the 3.5 watt input from the dead key. Never have run 100 watts input to this thing, not even close. Where can I purchase a relay for this amp? The transistors I have on hand. THanks Pat

before swapping out $100 worth of power transistors, check the power switch and keying transistor. there's probably only 2 non-power transistors in it, 1 for the preamp & the keying transistor.
