Anyone used one? I am getting one in afew days. Love my 10K but love trying new stuff. It was designed by 55 and he sold the design. If its better than the 10K I will be impressed. Just wondering if anyone has tried it. |

Never heard of or seen the Fatboy antennas yet. Do they have the mounts as well? High quality antenna mounts seem to be getting rare. Its good to know when custom made stuff is on the market. KEEP IT REAL! Kenny cef491(27.115lsb) 2sf491(27.555usb) Indiana

55 down in Florida designed these antennas but sold the design to fatboy. He is building some other antennas and I guess could not keep up with demand. They are a 3 wrap coil and alot of the big keydown boys use them. Tunes flat as heck and some might not like the look but I do. |

30 miles south of Indianapolis in the town of Franklin. When I go on camping trips to Brown county, being at higher elevation I can contact Evansville. Maybe this summer I can call for Mt. Vernon. KEEP IT REAL! Kenny cef491(27.115lsb) 2sf491(27.555usb) Indiana

Just what I have been reading. I know this much. Never heard a bad coment about anything 55 has put together. At least those who ran his stuff. It looks interesting! |

R4's work well but no better then a 10K. i have tried them both and went back to the 10K. even the Monkey Made 9mm performes the same for me on SSB. you won't go wrong with the R4 or 10K |

In my crude testing the 10K seemed to have a slight advantage in transmit. 55 in recieve. Slight in both cases. Both look nice. 10K build quality is hard to beat but the 55 is a nice antenna also. With these two I know I dont need anymore antennas. I would be happy with either. |
