I have a boinggg sound toy that I am wondering what the color codes for the wires are so that I can install it in my radio I used to have the installation instructions but have lost them and can't remember how to hook it up. |

how many wires & what colors? black=ground, red=positive PROBABLY only 8-9 volts while mic is keyed ONLY so you're gonna have to search out a place for that, maybe 2 other wires, 1 'input' & 1 'output' from audio line of mic..... |

yellow = mic audio blue = ptt red = V+ 8-10 vdc black = gnd. they MAY operate on 12 volts but most were designed to be installed inside a power mic and powered off the 9 volt battery.they were disabled by putting a switch on the red wire. {tech291} |
