I have an old style microphone that is similar to an echomax except that it has an anolog meter instead of the led's but it has the tx lock roger beep and echo and modulation sliders problem is the microphone part itself atop the flexible mast is gone and there are four wires inside that I'm not sure how to wire back up, there is a grey wire that houses a shield and a white wire then there are also a red and black wire as well, any help getting a new microphone wired back to this would be great. |

Just as some added info it is not an echomax or at least I think it isn't there really isn't a brand name on it at all, just says desktop microphone on the top. it all powers up and the meter works but I'd really like to get it workin if its possible. 73's Barakuda318

lol...looks like you stumped the panel. Would you like the prize behind door number 1,2 or 3? My best guess without actually seeing the mic is that the white/shield wires go to the mic element and the red/black wires went to an on/off switch. Like I said though, this is just a guess on my part. |

I'll pick door number one if it will answer my question....lol I don't know its weird almost as if the microphone part had power running to itself I always thought that all you had were the audio wires running from the mic down to the circuitry inside but this one is different, thanks guys for at least putting something else on this post,,,,lol 73's Barakuda318
