307 when it rains it pours.*sigh* I went to talk on my 2950 DX in my car tonight I noticed it was not even moving the bars on the AM & FM mode.But it worked on the LSB and USB modes. Evey thing was working fine and just poof. Should I send it in or will it be some thing easy. Please help I really love my 2950. Or E-Mail me at (schlse@faribonet.net) Thank's Len |

I would guess that the AM Power Regulator went out. It is an easy fix. 307 |

Ok 307 how can I do it.And where is this located in the radio? I just can not live with out my 2950 in my car. I do have a Uniden grant xl but I don't like that much any more. Thank's Len |

Look down into the component side of the radio. The AM Power regulator is mounted against the right side near the rear... 307 |

307 I looked but I can not see the small ## and letters on any thing inside. To be honest with you I have diabetes and my eyes well they are not like they used to be. I figure I have a few more years to go before I have hang up my radio's. Does copper do work like this? And if copper did what would they charge? How much do you think ranger would charge to fix the radio? I am just trying to find the best way of getting it fixed. thank you Len # 111 So,Minnesota |
