Try this:

TX - Black
RX - Red
AUDIO - White
Sheild - Braided

At least that is what I have for info, hope it helps!

The Super Sidekick mic manual is showing 4 wires on the mic cable so unsure why there would be 5 of them unless the cable has been changed at some point , Mike's wiring seems to be correct according to the manual diagram but there is a switch on the underside of the mic which should be switched toward the rear of the mic for electronic TX/RX switching and toward the front of the mic for relay TX/RX switching , you will have to check to see which method of switching the radio uses and set the switch accordingly .

The Super Sidekick Mic has a 4 wire cord. The correct wiring for ranger 2950 old style (not DX) model is black and shield together on pin 1, white goes to pin 2,red goes to pin 3 nothing on pin 4, then just place the switch on the bottom to either relay or electronic position which ever works on your radio. There ya go!
