What size power supply would be best to power a 10 meter radio such as a Connex 3300HP or a General Lee? Moderator Note! For a helpful guide on what size power supply you will need CLICK HERE > WHICH POWER SUPPLY DO YOU NEED? |

I use a PS14KX .I run a rci 2950 dx & a kl60, I bought the 14 so I could run a kl 200-p, And still have room for more power. The Rci uses a 6 amp fuse . The kl60 uses a 5 amp fuse. |

there are a lot of people that claim to see 50+ watts from a general lee....better too big then too small. i'd suggest at least 15 amps continuous, if not bigger. i'd personally get the biggest i could afford, in the 35+ amp continuous range....you never know when that 50 watt radio will turn into a new 150 watter . |

I agree there young Patrick. At the least use a 40a supply. They are as cheap as chips at the moment and will easily run a 100w kicker if it appears in the shack in the future. CEFFFCEF Bob CEF703/CVC26 269 Hunter Valley NOT allowed to hold a passport....
