alright guys i picked up a radio at a hamfest called a alan 87. ept 360012b board same guts as a galaxy 77 basically. it transmits great nice loud audio on all modes but absolutley no recieve!! its not a knob on the face turned down the receive knob is all the way on...even if i key a radio next to it it doesnt even move the needle or make one peep. its just dead quiet. but there is static if volume is wide open but just no radio signals at all being received. even if its on channel 19 at 12 noon when all the trash is going. bascially i need help to figure out the recieve problem please!! specific parts that need to be replaced or checked helpful. ok thanks. ps its not that the mike is wired wrong either....thanks |
