Hi there, I'm looking for an antenna switch like the factory one for the Moonraker 4, or like the Dosy SW-4, but I need something that will handle over 1000 watts. These are both rated at 1000 watts. I need one that has "Horizontal, Vertical, Aux, Horizontal+Vertical". Also, just curious, but what is the max wattage I can run into the MR4 without hurting it? Rob CEF# 830 Portland, TN

hi rob, i also use a moonraker 4 with a kenwood ts 950s and a kenwood tl 922a 2kw amplifier. i have had this running about 1500w thru the moonraker at different times over the years and it hasnt seemed to do any harm. regarding the antenna switch i use an old yaesu fc-102 atu. old but excellent. hope this helps. tony (cbi555) ireland. |
