I have a golden eagle 1k that has been completely redone no longer has the 27lf6's been converted to 30kd6's has had all bigger relays replaced and has been doing great for years, but all the sudden it doesn't have a dead key anymore it's just all swing. When you put 4 watt dead key to it it'll show 0 on the meter and when you talk it will swing and then go right back to 0 again after you quit talking does anyone know what could be causing this I thought maybe it was a tube but replaced them all but still the same.

Blues, im not a professional by far but I can put in a suggestion for you. Look into the keyup circuit, look close and see it there isnt a resistor or a choak that has burnt. Also look at where the power goes into and on to the main board. Look for a disc capasitor that may have broken a leg so to say. I have a maverick d&a 250 and I beliveve it had a resistor that controled the lower part of the dead key. it worked as a foot of a dead key I guess you could say. 1 other thing, if it has a high low switch, check it also for the same as listed. It will be something to that nature, it is just a metter of finding it and replacing that 20 cent part. Well we hope right. Good luck with it, wish I had more for you. Just 2 cents worth of knowlege and a penny for my thoughts in return, I feel as if im getting nowhere fast!! LOL! Good luck.
