Ok I have the Realistic version of the Uniden PC 122XL. I can not think of the TRC-###. It transmit's strong and the receive is good but you can barley hear the audio comeing out of the speaker. I turned the radio volume up and you can hear voices but they are faint. I just got this one off a internet auction site. I took the cover off and did not see any stretched cap's or burnt transistors. I do not have a Sam's Photo Facts for this radio. Any advice apreciated!If anyone knows the part number of the audio amp for the speaker that would help a lot. Thanks!!

Have you tried an external speaker? If the radio transmits loud and clear I would check for a bad speaker, dirty external speaker jack, dirt or debris in the mic connector, try a different mic.Hope this helps, good luck!
