It does NOT show up on the display Dale.If you hear no difference either way then someone may have tweeked the cans inside the radio!BUT;on mine it doesn't seem to to have much affect either. There is some noticeable difference, but very little.Hope this helps ya sir. 73.Slim. |

No noticeable difference in the shack but since I've reinstalled mine in my pickup....YES...there IS quite a noticeable difference. Without the NB on the ignition noise is HORRENDOUS! I'm sure it can be tweaked inside the radio for better results. Google "HR2510 alignment" and you'll find something. Hope this helps. Hank~CEF559/CEFHAM242 KC2RIW Eastern Long Island NY

well i only know cause on base i have a little bad electical noise and the nb seems utterly useless.i did a google search the rx is align good but the is still there sounds like a tick, tick, tick noise.this radio is a highly respected radio but kinda disappointed on the lack of electrical noise filtering. dale/a.k.a.hotrod cef426 cvc#64

"this radio is a highly respected radio but kinda disappointed on the lack of electrical noise filtering." That I will second although its the best SSB 10 meter I've ever used. Hank~CEF559/CEFHAM242 KC2RIW Eastern Long Island NY
