Anyone know what the modulation and power adjustments are for the Radio Shack TRC-447 ? This radio is not listed in the modification list to the left of this page. |

Radio Shack TRC-447 mobile and AM only There appears to be no AMC variable adjustment in it so I suspect a diode needs to be clipped. What is the correct diode to remove and what are the power adjustments? Help is appreciated. |

This was on the internet. Here you go... Power is: L7, L8, L9, L12. Modulation is VR12. LC7185 PLL chip...."not modifiable" or expandible with Expo Kit. |

COBRA 2000 sorry but there are no varible adjustments in the Radio Shack TRC-447 that begin with the prefix of VR. All varible adjustments begin with RT and the power adjustments in the transmitter section all are a letter and three digits such as L106 as an example. All varible adjustments are clearly labaled on the circuit board, but there is none for AMC or MOD. Maybe a diode that needs to be clipped for modulation. I have not been able to find this info yet. Thanks for your try. |

Sorry, man... I looked all over the net for about an hour. I wonder if you can get a service manual from Radio Shack for that radio? 'Cause apparantly nobody on the net knows a thing about it. |
