Dale, Thanks. I tried that. Wasn't right. There are 6 wires. The yellow wire is clipped short and probably not used. Had thing close though, would recieve when the mic was keyed. I ran out of patience last night. I was thinking of maybe wiring it for my RCI 2990 or galaxy 2527 to use on sideband. Any ideas on that wiring ? Interesting, it has a small black switch on the bottom that barely moves back and forth. Not sure what this is ( may have been added later) Thanks, Jim |

Dale, It is the Washington with the 8719 Pll. The radio would recieve when the mic was keyed. I will see this weekend which radio I willwire it for. I do use a jumper for most of my mices, so I can use them with different radios, 5 pin to 6 pin. That's why I wanted to wire it for the Washington. Thanks, Jim. Oh, I'll also check out that little switch on the bottom. It doesn'tseem to move very much, so don't know if it works correctly. |

Dale, Someone had put a small plate over the old switch so it wouldn't move back and forth. I removed it and now it will work back and forth for electronic switching or not. Thank you.... |

I have a Turner +2 desk mic and it only has 4 wires it is still at factory specs, did you say yours has 5 wires? I have never seen a Turner +2 with more than 4 wires. If the radio loses rx when you pull the mic out then it might not work. The old Turner +2's were designed mostly to work with relay switching and some of the older radios from back in the late 70's and early 80's Bob CEF451/VE1CZ Robert L. Spicer The days of radio are just beginning!
