I have a few questions about this amp, as I am
considering picking one up.

-I have heard the texas star amps have unregulated
bias... is this really that big of a deal, or
does it only matter if you want to volt it? I
want to be able to maintain clean audio on AM
and SSB. I'm probably going to run it on
12-13.8 VDC max, typical stock alternator voltages.

-What is the input SWR like? Does it stay low or
does it change based on input?

-Anyone know if there is a way to make this amp
key remotely? IIRC, there is a transistor
where one can tie one of the legs to ground via a
switch/relay and that will key the amp. I
had one of these rigged up to an RCA jack with
my old DX350HDV but I don't have the amp anymore
to replicate the circuit.

Thanks in advance to those who reply.

-Mike
