ok i have a 29ltd st and it has a high level of static on it i thought it was my mobile antenna but i took it in the house and still have the same thing going on with it is there a way to turn the static down i hooked up another radio and i dont have the problem .what can i do to fix it.

The Cobras are usually pretty low on static. I always take my Cobras over to my trusty technician for a professional receiver alignment and static goes away.
