i just ordered a vr-9000 and had a few questions, after converted to 11 meter what is the frequency range? also you say its like a 88 galaxy, tune up specs are the same for a 99 and 88 but they convert diffrent to 11 meter.1 says for the 99 cut green wire and plug the plug in and the other says remove a small wire from the bottom of the board and make sure there is no solder touching the to pins then plug the plug in which one is like the vr-9000 to convert.thanks alot. |

Jyd, To convert the VR9000 look for 4 resistors soldered in a criss-cross pattern on the solder side of the board. Remove these resistors. Freq range should be the same as a Galaxy 88 25.615 - 28.305. |
