Hi All- I'm looking at buying a new car, more than likely a Toyota Corolla or a Honda Civic.... anyone here have either of these cars in recent model years with a radio in them? how much noise did you get? (eg, from ignition or computer, fuel pump, etc. ) Basically what I'm trying to do is minimize the amount of hash I have to deal with up front. It's a lot easier to deal with a car that only has a little amount of noise than it is to have to mod something which is very noisy. -Mike |

Just make sure that the vehicle you buy does not have the word FORD on it! Kenny cef491(27.115lsb) 2sf491(27.555usb) Indiana

Curt, Well your doing something right. May not be every model of Ford. I believe that its the alternator. Many of the TRUCKS have that or the fuel pump installed on the gas tank. Heck my mobile setup is dead silent and I get noise from F-150"s and Ford Explorers driving by in the work parking lot from at distance of about 100 feet!
