Bruce , I keep hearing you talk about your Cadillac and just remembered a antenna made back in 1975 that would suit the old Cad to a tee.It was a trunk mount about 10 inches tall with two swept back wings.Looked just like a airplane.I bought one and it worked pretty good until I hooked up a Hooker 100 amp and fried the Wingmaster.

YES YES and i saw one the other day on a old cady!! HI HI on cooking it i did the same thing on a AS 5/8 wave roof mounted on my 1976 AMC COOKED it with 200 watts the little platsic glob at the bottom of the wip was globed flat on the roof of the car so i went to a 5 db gain husler coliner rated at 1000 watts it got warm but didnt buge. My new antennas are motorola and rated at 200 watts ... we will see.
