Why, yes it does. Thanks, Lon. See 'em on the auction site listed as the Turner/Telex Rk-56 mics. Gotta look close, but I am sure there are those that have been bit by these crooks...... I know of one guy that did. He thought he got a deal on a RK-56, until I showed him the name tag on the back that was rubbed off, with what appeared to be acetone. Showed him my ol' RK-56, and his tune sure changed in a hurry. These CDL-56's sound OK, but not for no 40+ bucks... $.02 |

Wow! Brand new I paid 15 bucks for a CDL 56 and it actually gets better dependable reports than my Astatic mics! They are good mics and I myself honestly can say I cannot tell the difference betwwen it and the Telex model in performance. I was suprised when I first held it in my hand at the qaulity for the price. They are not junk mics and are worthy of being called good gear. Of course we all prefer the name Telex cause we feel that we get what we pay for. I would recommend a CDL to anyone who can't afford the Telex or Astatics types! |

Oh, everyone can find the CDL 56-K for great prices, when listed as such. I have no complaints with the Overdrive line of products, but was doing my thing about reporting rip-offs on the "auction site" sell'n them and listing the item as Telex RK-56 mics. For 15-20 bucks, they are a bargain, but not for the $40-$45 price you'd pay for one they copied it from. 10-4? |
