I just got it from Copper. When I connect it to my Washington radio the frq counter numbers jump around too much with & without keying up. Not giving me a steady frq. Not sure if it is damaged. |

Does the freq counter still jump around when you disconnect the coax? Is there anything close to the freq counter that may be emmiting RF and making your counter jump? Also try keying up your radio with the mic gain turned all the way down and you should get a good steady reading on it. |

I just recieved my new TFC3001 and a sticker on the box states... "Frequency counter will display random numbers until transmitter is keyed. Display of transmitted frequency is instantaneous." Hope this helps. |
