Hi, Anyone out there tried this antenna, AS1102W ? I've just ordered one. It has a capacitor in the bottom and has 3/8 wave winding. Has 1 db gain over a quater wave. 73 |

Does Shakespeare still make CB antennas for base and mobile? I thought they just make marine antennas now. |

I agree with Bruce. Sounds like the good ole' days of the Francis Amazer. It was a good antenna though. |

Gimmic or not,I'm gunna try one. If its 102" and has a coil too then that aint no bad thing over a normal 1/4 wave. I'll test it against my 102" Hustler stainless steel whip. Racer X they have pulled out of the CB market but its some new old stock that I have found. |
