Hi people in USA,
Here is something that may be of interest to you all who complain about the quality of the CTE TOP ONE antenna. There is a better alternative which I own and use. It’s called the TAGRA BT-101.Its identical in spec to the original Avanti Astroplane but features better construction and is also gold anodized to stop corrosion. It uses a better grade of alloy than both the TOP ONE and Astroplane too.
Perhaps Copper could approach TAGRA for export of their antenna's?? You won’t be disappointed in performance and construction.
TAGRA of Spain have been long recognized for their excellent construction and weather resilience in the UK (we get big winds too). They also “did” copies of the Avanti Sigma 4 called the Tagra BT-104 and the Avanti Sigma 2 called the TAgra BT-210. Both were identical copies to the originals in terms of electrical length but again construction, anodization and alloys were better than their original counterparts.
I’m sure if enough people out there who wanted these old classics back and companies like Copper could put a little pressure on this company, Tagra would go back into manufacturing them again.

Tagra are still making antenna's and use to make clones of all the old US classics from Avanti.However construction is better than the originals !!
Not sure who distributor is in the U.S? Send an email to Tagra to find out. Copper really ought to take on this antenna. I cant praise them high enough.
