I noticed that the KL203 is equiped with 12 gauge power wires. Should I just add more 12 gauge wire with bullet connectors and hook them directly to my battery? What is the best way to hook up my KL203? |

Cbblackbeard, Yes you can connect as you mentioned above. I personally run 10 Gauge wire direct from the battery and connect both the Radio and Mobile Amps to that using the TP-10-2 Quick Disconnect's for Mobile Amplifiers and Radios. They allow me to change radios and/or amps very quickly and easily to prevent theft. http://www.copperelectronics.com/cgi-bin/checkitout/checkitout.cgi?catalogSTORE:CKIE:prodW90-30012+ Copper also carries the: TP-2 / 16 Gauge Quick Disconnects Part #W90-30012 TP-10 / 10 Gauge Quick Disconnects Part# W90-30010 TP-8 / 8 Gauge Quick Disconnects Part #W90-30014 Hope this helps.
