which of these two antenna would you put on a Galaxy DX93T mobil, with 50 watts in the radio, this is not pep watts, I have to wait until I get it to see. Thanks guys |

There is a slight helix in the francis. There might be a SLIGHT compromise between efficiency and SWR, angle of radiation, and bandwidth. Ask that Marconi about that tiny bit of reactance and how much efficiency you'll give up with the amazer. I don't think it would be much. Obviously much less than a firestick or K-40 or wilson. I like the steel whip but I've enjoyed the better SWR and better(slightly) local reception with the amazer. Znut |

Thanks guys for your opinion on the two antenas, I have had them it seems forever, I think they were a gift when I was born, I used it to keep the nurse from playing with my blue booties. |
