lmr 400 would be great but you can't hardly bend it...

rg 8 and lmr 400 will work but are a bit bulky. mini 8 (rg8x) will work fine for most applications. rg8x is what i use and it works for me.

For 500w and less Belden Mini8 is fine. Over that look at LMR240,CQ mini 8 flex.

Hello Junior:
I have use some surplus aircraft type coax for mobile use, its RG142, its a teflon type coax that is bullet proof. Same size as RG58. Lasts for years and years.

The guys at Cable Experts carry it, its around 1.70 a foot. I have used this type coax for mobile use and its great.
