He only posted this one message, then never came back. We can only assume it was another ebay seller wanting to know where to place the starting bid for some of their merchandise. Ebay has completely ruined radio swap meets and even radio finds at garage sales. Swap meet sellers overprice things with the attitude, "If it doesn't sell at the swap, it will sell on ebay." Or my least favorite, "That's what these sell for on ebay!". Grrrrr. <opinion> Curse ebay.... </opinion> Your radio 'Mythbuster' since 1998

A lot of the CBers and hams are getting fed up with fleabay. Not only does it pump the prices up!, it also will drop an add for a product that they consider non fcc accepted. This gives less places for exports to be sold to possibly licenced operators who could put them back into designed service. Some of the pure junk items are flowing freely from China, so buyer beware. One guy on there has been selling jeweler screw driver sets as radio tuneup gear for ten times the price. Look at the price of some electronic parts. Agreement 833 ! Pressman/KC4ZWM

No sir, I do not. However,I do have an Antenna Specialists Super Mag base station antenna brand new in the box, and I still have my brand new in the box Antenna Specialists Super Scanner. I am beginning to wonder if I will ever get either one put up into the air! Keith in Atlanta CEF 150 |
