Hello and HNY my name is Luis I am from Costa Rica, and new on this forum... I am planning my holydays in US and I want to buy from copper a Maco Shooting Star but I can found reviews from people who used this antenna. Luis; Welcome to the forum! The Shooting Star is a great antenna. Take your time with assembly, read and follow directions. The Shooting Star will need a good rotar (ar40)a Ham 2 would be even better. It's a good DX antenna, easy to tune, good RX and TX. You won't make a bad choice. 73 Wally/Pressman/KC4ZWM

I have the Maco shooting star from copper and it performs really well. It has allowed me to talk all over. Very good at pulling weak stations in and very good rejection on the back side. I'm very happy with it. |
