Well, the (4) 1446 finals finally went on my old Pal 450 (not a high drive or variable). Sent it to the shop and asked if they could swap out for better erfs, like 2290s or 2879s. Haven't heard back yet, so thought I'd check with y'all. Is it possible to replace/upgrade the 450 by erf switch out? I know the Palomar 650 HD has 4x2879s and maybe same guts as a 450 to make it a 650 watt upgrade? Curious...

Got the news today. The tech I spoke with said not worth chancing a pill swap as the other components might become an issue for compatibilities sake.
