For all that has kids or grandkids! I would like for all you members to look outside and report on DECEMBER 24th any sightings of SANTA. I know that (NORAD) keeps track of him on radar! But my Granddaughter says radar means nothing it could be a plane ??? So I told her all that looks on DECEMBER 24th in the night sky let us know what you see and the time! So i ask for your help in tracking SANTA on DECEMBER 24th and post time of sighting and what you seen also any sounds. Moderator 136 CEF 136 kc0svc |

A neat thing done by WO6T is Santa's Workshop. The op is in Bakersfield,Ca. and he gets on amateur radio and lets kids talk to Santa. My kids did this in the early 1990's and even though they are now 18 and 23, this still gets mentioned from time to time during the Christmas season. Look him up and see if he is still doing this. It is neat for the kids. 73, KB5LPA |

I am WildRat, I will let you know when he's been here, cause I usually come out to eat the nice sweet chocolate that is left for these noisy two legged hairless monkey's every year. WildRat |

I will keep my eyes and ears open for that Jolly little fellow. Last year he ate the whole jar of cookies and washed them done with a whole gallon of milk. He exclaimed as he drove out of sight: The cookies were good and the milk was devine, but, next year leave some egg-nog behind.... |

Had a qso with WO6T aka W6S (Whiskers 6 Santa during December)on 14.270 at about 23:47 UTC. He had been working stations with kids in the shack. Very neat thing to listen to. Mickey is great as he has been doing "Santa's Workshop" for 34 years. Drop by for a listen on hf. Check his site for times and frequencies. Good for the kids. 73, KB5LPA |
