What does the speech processor do? Is it kind of like the audio compressor on my OmegaForce? |

K40 tells me that the speech processor (The 'Charlie' chip) no longer resides in the microphone, it is now built in to the radios. This is spectacular news, Lon! Do they have a SSB version so we could use it on the CEF nets? |

Hmmmmm. See somewhere it could go here http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y231/cwahls/HeadFlash.jpg I was going to mod it for a 257! I may still, I'll post in another section of some plans for that. Fiberglass and body filler is just WAITING along with another mount kit! |
