Good Grief what a bad day there Allagator! Glad to hear nobody got hurt though. So, all in all, it was a good day! Nothing like sipping some suds and watching 50,000 volts surge through your antenna. Take care Ali Jim/CEf 375 Pa |

Man the lightning was so intense in Indiana last night I was sure my antenna was gonna get hit! Instead I almost got hit. A strike came down about 300 feet away from me walking through my work parking lot and it was only sprinkling at the time. Finally got the ringing in my left ear to go away from the thunder crack. I had no time to prepare for the noise and was scared out of my skin I think it took a year or 2 off my life. The sound it made was amazing. Reminded my of one of those Tazer guns cops use but much louder and powerful. Guess my handle would have really come true to life. |

Allagator I know the feeling my I-Max was zapppped about 6 to 8 weeks ago. One good thing the coax end was out the window but the bad it came back into the window from a gap in the bottom. Lost way to nany things. But the main thing no one was hurt here and with you as well. Good luck on the future base set up, Len CEF#189 Minnesota |
