The first CB I ever saw and operated and oldest thus far, was in 1974'ish, (not mine) was a Johnson 6 channel? mobile hooked up as a base station w/power supply. You insert the crystals for what channel you wished to talk on (19,21,7..so on) I remember the channels were A,B,C,D,E,F,? After 30 years it's hard to remember the exact details of the radio. |

My bad, when i saw the topic "old am radio" I automatically think of that old johnson CB , lol. The oldest mobile am music type radio i've seen hmmm... I guess the stock AM radio in a 1960 Cadillac De Ville i used to have. That would be the oldest I remember working and sounding good. |
