First of HI all I am back!! I have been gone to goverment service and cant say where or in what job, but you can guess. What i am tring to do is find a way to talk t o my wife while we listen to the drivers on the track. Rad Shak had a neat set but they no longer have them. I have several frs radios and would like to use them to keep cost down or I am open to any ideas. Some sort of intercom where we could press a button to hear each other but still hear the cars. Anyone got any ideas? |

I had a schematic for a priority audio switch, that ran aduio from one input until an overide signal came on the second input. Give a few days and I'll see if I still have and if will mail it to you. |

I see the units you are talking about still on the rack at local radioshacks. Maybe you can do a tour of local radioshacks and be able to find them ?? Ken. |

Best Buy has a boom mike with a single ear piece for the FRS/Gmrs type radios...might work for you. |

Perhaps a motorcycle intercom is what you're looking for? |

Have you seen those motorcycle systems for cb? 800 to 1000 bucks for a good set for a Honda. I ride and checked them out for my Intruder for those long trips. No thanks |

The Nady PMC-2X is less than $50 and will allow an audio signal input so you can listen to a scanner, cd player, MP3 player or any other device through the intercom. It'll also connect to an FRS radio with built in VOX. Honda's stuff is expensive because it's Honda. Their CB is horribly overpriced. I've got a cousin who has owned a few Goldwings and made the mistake of buying their first without the CB. They were out of communication with their rider group and had to just follow the other riders. Do Goldwings still come with CBs? I would think they would move to FRS or MURS now, or at least incorporate them for better compatability. |

Yeah, the last Goldwing in the show room I seen had a cb. It was a 2004. |
