Add a 102in whip and a spring on a mirror mount behind the cab of your pickup truck on the bedrail and your good to go with it. I currently run a Francis Wheeler Dealer this way. It's a shame they just quit making it, because I have less qrm from street lights on the band, plus I have noticed it gets out slightly better from my own un-scientific tests.

thanks, copper. after i spent all afternoon sunday building antennas til i got 1 to work on 6 meters...mine's a square loop type though. i wanted flat side anyways. no good %$#*&^ $%#@* copper!
boy, i hope the forummaster can take gettin' messed wit by 'double-zero'

No, it is Manufactured by S.I.W. (Superior Insulated Wire Corporation.

S.I.W. is the Oldest Coax Manufacturer in the US.

Same specifications as davis but at a much more reasonable price.

Wow is it low loss like Davis RF bury flex? If thats the case it`s a real good price.

The Davis Bury Flex says it is only Low Loss at:

LOW LOSS - 2.9 dB/100ft @ 400 MHz

Sorry, but I do not have the specs on the S.I.W. Coax for operation at 400MHz.
