Well several months back I took part in a discussion on here about our relative jobs and the associated problems. 3 weeks ago I stopped working for the hotel and started with a computer consulting firm - better conditons, better pay and a lot more relaxed,(maybe I can drop the Depressions Meds in the future). Cannot say exactly (security reasons) what I am doing other than it a support and helpdesk position that involves working with State Authorites in Oregon, Montana, Mississippi, Iowa, Missouri and one other state that I cannot remember at the moment. Currently I am working out of the Salem OR office (weekly trip to and from) but soon will be based back in Baker fulltime. SO those who took part in that earlier discussion and are still in the same job - patience things can change. Oh yes how I got this was funny - I was travelling with a friend of the hotel owner to a banquet that the hotel was catering and mentioned to her that I had found a program that would help her out with her multiple WiFi nets connection problem. A third person in the car comment "Oh you work with computers do you. Give me you phone number so I can pass it my husband as he is looking for someone". Needless to say I did. The following day recieved aphone call telling me I had an interview the following Teusday at 9am. By 2pm the owner rang back and told me I started the next week. Just a matter of being in the right place at the right time. |

That's GREAT Simon, Good Luck in your job. You deserve it my friend. Now I hope you have some time to relax and have fun without working 24/7/365. Lon Tech808 CEF808 N9OSN |
