I have a couple of them old Realistic Desk mics. Does anyone know what the switch on the bottom does? It has 2 positions, pos.1 & pos.2 Thanks B.T.W I think these mics sound great.I know not a D 104 or Siver Eagle but for Radio Shack they are nice. |

The switch I believe is for electronic or relay radios. If my memory is correct or not, may at best be a 50/50 thing! *G* |

I use to have one of those many years ago. If memory serves correctly it would allow you to switch the internal wiring of the mic. to allow usage on different configured radios. I had a couple of OLD Sears and Robucks radios and it would run one on position #1 and the other on position #2. Not sure if it had anything to do with electronic or relay, but might have... |

Yes, some Mics had electronic in 1 position and relay switching in the other position. JIM/ PA/ CEF 375 |
