Yes Ladies and Gentlemen. It is that yearly ritual that everyone loves to take part in -
The Time Change for America.

Since none of us have anything better to do, most Americans will move their clocks up one hour this coming weekend.

Good Luck on your new ventures!

And I'll have to agree with Rover on that.

Airplane, I dunno, it would be nice to spring forward one last time and that be the end of it. I have no idea WHY we still do this. It should have been stopped a long time ago. Guess old habits are hard to break. Maybe someone else can explain why we still do, because it is beyond me as to why.

When living in the city and single I would have liked to see DST all the time, BUT... Now I have a real job I have to be at at 7AM and a kid riding a bus. I would rather him not wait for the bus in the dark.

On the other hand I have been known to throw an annual DST party and it is quite the drunken bash, this year I think I'm going to wait till the pool is opened up and everything is green :-)

Spring forward is the 'man made' thing...I would rather stay with a straight EST. If I remember, Indiana doesn't even observe this time change thing...but I may be wrong.--

Arizona, Hawaii, and most of Indiana don't observe daylight savings time.

It has been shown to save energy and lives, and prevent crime.

But Idiana IS TRYING HARD to change that, at least some people are, they say "it's bad for business" BULL!!!
It's stupid, allways has been, allways will be I don't care what people tell me, there is no reson what so ever to change the time, the earth doesnt slow down or speed up it stays the same so should our clocks!

It's not changing time - it's changing when people do things. There is hard evidence that it saves energy, reduces crime, and prevents traffic accidents. It's only an hour - what's the problem?

If you're against DST are you against time zones too? After all it's a similar premise - move the local time to an agreed upon regional time.

Here in INdiana when everybody around us changes and we stay it gets confusings sometimes like for instance when my tv shows come on. Or a live sports show. Always thinking to remember to add that hour. TV Guide gets thrown off.

Now that you mention it, yeah get rid of the time zones too! We are in cst zone, most of our tv stuff is on est, even Nashville, which is 90 miles away. Get rid of time zones, and keep dst all the time, simple is best sometimes.
